# EQUATRAN Tutorial 2: Simultaneous Equations

This tutorial shows the solution of 2 simultaneous equations with 2 unknown variables. As in the previous example, the equations used are trivial and could easily be solved by rearrangement using pencil and paper, but we will show how EQUATRAN solves the equations as written before moving on to more complex sets of equations in later tutorials.

We will solve the following equations:

4x + 3y = 12 |

Simply enter the equations after opening a new source text window in EQUATRAN, click run and view the results.
